In order to renew your account, the Certificate of Deposit must be within the grace period without penalty or during the post maturity period. If your Certificate of Deposit doesn't automatically mature into a post maturity account, your Certificate of Deposit will mature and automatically renew on the current renewal date and same term stated on the pre-renewal notice you received in the mail.
When renewing your Certificate of Deposit online, your new Certificate of Deposit will renew with the same interest disbursement as your current Certificate of Deposit. If you want to change your interest disbursement, you will need to renew your Certificate of Deposit in one of our branches or by phone through our My Banking Direct Customer Contact Center at 1-866-285-1856
Any addition or withdrawal to a Certificate of Deposit must be done at a branch of the Bank during the grace period or during the post maturity period. Your Certificate of Deposit document must be presented to process any withdrawal. Online renewals made after 10:00 pm Eastern Time will be effective on the next banking day. If a grace period ends on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, renewals will be effective on the next banking day immediately following the end of the grace period. Our banking days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
